As the others said, make sure it's rod knock. What RPM do you hear it at? Does it come and go with RPM?
Ends up, since I tried a dozen times to get the CAS aligned w/o the dowel to keep it in the right slot that A LOT of gas from not starting thinned out my oil...on top of that my sump screen got clogged. So a combo of a couple of things caused it.
And yes it was a rod knocking, confirmed this after removing the oil pan etc...
