Just wanted to share the fact that my motor took a crap. I was just coming home from work and pulled in the garage and that was it. She shut down on her own with a weird pinging noise after. (At least it wasnt on the interstate.) Anyways, after investigating, I found out it was my #3 cylinder. I pulled my spark plug and it was trashed. Pull the valve cover to find out that, I no longer had a valve visible  . This was definatly big trouble. Next, I looked at the dip stick and there was no sign of coolant. Once the head came off, there it was, my valve in three pieces. Crazy! My piston was gouged up but not the cylinder walls. The head was a little gouged up to but no hole in either of them. I couldn't see any cracks. Hell, my valve keeper just let loose  . I did tell myself once my motor takes a crap I'm gonna go SR, but with more bad luck, there maybe more layoffs in my company :( . I really dont want to rebuild a ka24e. All that money spent to get a stock turd. I'm prolly gonna find someone selling there ka24de. If anyone can help find me a motor let me know.
