Bad injector???

My son's 92 now has a dead #4 cylinder. He recently did a compression check, all cylinders showing 150-160psi. It ran well for a few days, then started running rough, lacking power.

Pulling the #4 spark plug wire had no effect on the engine, unlike the rest of the cylinders. I pulled all the spark plugs, and all looked good, with good spark tests for all of them. Disconnecting the #4 injector had no effect on the engine.

Could this be anything else but a bad #4 injector? Are they difficult to replace?

Seems likely that the injector is bad - not too difficult to replace either. Other possibilities could be something causing the valves to remain closed but unlikely.

Replaced injector, all is well. The sucker didn't want to come out easily though...
