my car has been running bad...runs as if it has a bad ground or something.

I noticed today that one of the injectors was leaking...which i believed was the culprit for my car running so bad. so i changed all the o-rings and no more leaks, but the car still runs horrible.

I figured out that holding the injector closest to the front of the car in a certain/exact position makes the engine run normally again. In order to position the injector that "perfect" way, i pivoted and moved it til the idling engine sounded normal again.

I tried putting the injector in that position and driving, but the engine vibrations repositions the injector. For now, i ziptied the injector in the "perfect" position, but its just a temporary solution...

Is this a bad injector or is there another problem?

p.s. its a sohc

Sounds like it's the connector/pigtail, not the injector itself. Injector problems are pretty common with single cams.

Yea it makes sense if its the connector, but how do i fix it?

Just spray electrical cleaning spray in it, or is there more to it?

The best fix would probably be to source another pigtail (or set), cut your current ones out, and solder the new ones in.
