Bad injector connectors

ok so i got a dd so i was able to start work on my 240sx (ka24e). so my 3rd and 4th injector connector weather proof stuff was broken and letting in water or what ever so it had some corrosion in the plug so i cleaned them with mafs cleaner and took a tooth brush to them taped them up and reconnect them started the car and it ran like s***. so i fiddled with them and got the 3rd to run lil better but 4th nothin. a guy is gunna give me some 1994 altima conectors to use and solder them in.

question: these will work right like connectors the same? and resistance?

if you guys need more info about somethin just tell me thanks for the help

Is this weather proofing stuff you call it the injector o-rings? And when you say taped them up did you tape up the injectors in place of the o-rings? That doesnt sound like a good ideaGo to autozone or w/e and buy some new o-rings and before you put them in spray them with WD40 before you seat them in or you could damage them.And if water leaked through the injectors im sure that cant be good for your motor idk exactly what it'll do but you should probably look into that....

no i never even touched the o rings they look good and arent leaking, im just talking about the connector. i taped like the pigtail you know thats it ill put a picture up later so you understand
