Bad hestitation at approx 4000 rpm +

When I accelerate, I get a bad hestitation at I'm guessing about 4000 rpm and it hard to accerate past that point. It feels like fuel cut. What could be causing this?

I had a similar problem. Sounds to me like a sure-fire boost leak. Run over all your IC and pipes makesure nothing is cracked or leaking. spray on brake cleaner, it will cause a harmless surge.

well, guys i have that problems too while my sr is still running but now i'm upgrading some stuff is its still undercontruction, to tell u this: " If u have fuel cuts at 4000 rpm or below that means u have no mafs, when i took out my mafs n run my car it cant go pass 3000 or 4000 rpm, i dont rmember but somewaht around there. try to c if your wiring for the mafs is rite? or try a new mafs, but i'm for sure its the mafs" thats my answer i have for ya...

oh one more thing make sure there are no leaks in your intercooler cuz i was using plumping pipings for awhile and now i have greddy IC i installing that, but like i said if u have plumping pipings or some rubber pipings make sure there are no leaks because i have a leak on the piping this one time while i was on highway and my sr feels kinda caokiest around 3 to 4 k rpm.. so ihave to stay under for it not to feel like that, its hard to pass that point too with a leak piping or intercooler... rmember cheeck for leaks on piping or IC...... REMEMBER....
