Bad grounds in heater system circuitry?

Guys

I picked up a 95' Base a few weeks ago and noticed on the way home that the heater was not working at all.

I drove the car around town last week and noticed that the heater actually would turn on intermittently, and at full blast, the blower was kind of weak. If i hit the brakes or turned right or left, the blower motor would actually perform stronger....now sometimes the heater still doesnt turn on at all...

I am wondering if this is a ground issue, or if anyone has had a heater/AC switch go bad on them?
