Bad Ground ???

so im guessing this is a bad ground but when i turn on my car the windshield wipers turn on by themselves and my gauges will not work and dont know what the problem will be and where i could search to fix this problem and to finish off my questions what sensors go along the passenger side of the transmission because the fool i bought it from looks like he snatched them out also there is no rpm's,speed,temp, or fuel the cluster lights up but thats all if this helps anymore

I believe the speed sensor might be on that side of the transmission also causing your gauge not to read anything.Also your windshield wipers might be caused by a bad ground or a short to short. A bad ground could cause to much resistance causing the current to find a new path which would be through your windshield wipers turning them on. Or it could be a short to short where a hot wire is exposed and is jumping to your exposed windshield wiper wires turning them on.Look in the FSM for the location for any wiper wires and examine any damaged wires around that area.As for looking for the ground im not to sure where to start on how to find it.
