Does anyone else notice that lots of performance parts websites have just aweful grammar? It just seems like businesses ought to sound more professional than they do. A lot of times it's just a typo. Why doesn't somebody check? Just needed to burn some time.

I noticed that you spelled awful wrong and your first sentence needs minor revisioning :D. I'm just messing with you.

I could really care less if the grammar is bad. It's all good as long as the product is properly advertised.

Hehe yeah but I still kinda agree with the fact that they should be getting the spelling correct.

It might also be because some of the shops are managed by japanese and foreign people, which havn't totally mastered the art of english yet.

True, but they can just hire someone to do all the emails and typing.

His first sentence needs minor REVISIONS, not revisioning.

"I could really care less"

This means that you do care because you have the potential to care less. If you really mean that you don't care, the sentence should read: I couldn't care less. I left "really" out because it is an adverb which should follow the verb, not split it.

Nick :)

p.s. yes, some websites do have poor grammar.

I notice people say that too."I could care less" And whenever I correctly say "I couldn't care less" They are like "Don't you mean you could care less?"

Bah. I shake my head and walk the other direction at that point

I could really care less or I could care less = It means you care but it doesn't bother you that much.

That's what I was trying to imply in my post.

Regardless of what anyone says, a buisness web site should do its best to have a grammatically correct site. What does it say about the owners of the site? Are you comfortable buying from such a site? If they can't write, how can you expect them to run a buisness? I'm not an english major, but if I notice improper english I don't think I would trust them too much. It's all aboot first impressions, right?

Ohhh, how embarassing. It's really too bad I spelled awful wrong because I try to make a conscious effort to spell correctly. Yeah, and I guess my sentence isn't perfect for written english. Eh, what are you gonna do?

By the way, since I seem to be into words and stuff, I'll go ahead and admit that I play Boggle regularly with a bunch of old people. The words these old people come up with are just amazing...things I didn't even know were words, yet they're in the dictionary. For example, "dint" is a word meaning the same thing as "dent," and there are many other obscure words that may seem slang to us, but have apparently made there way into dictionaries over the years because so many people have used the words. So whenever I play, I make sure to write down words like "noob" and any other variations of this word, such as "noobzor," etc., and I try to explain that these words will end up in the dictionary a few years down the road. However, they don't buy it and I lose.

I realize this most likely seemed pointless to many of you, but Boggle is a fun game, and I can only hope that at least a few people that look at this will have any idea what I'm talking about.

just out of curiousity, how'd a fellow Ford owner come to be on this board? (I dig Nissans and cars in general and was introduced to it by Krazy Skwerel cuz he kept yammering about it...)
