bad gas milliage

I have a fsm on the way and today i'm goign to fill up my gas tank all the way and reset the meter. But before I start would someone confirm if these readings i'm getting from my car are on par with yours...

This is a s14 KA with ~45,000 on odo.

5th gear @ 80mph tach. - 3.5k

I burned a quater tank of fuel driving to and back from school :/

But i think i know why it's burning so much gas. I put NGK irridiumIX* spark plugs in before i started driving the car. can anyone confirm this is true?

no maxpower, how many miles total is it to and from school. I'll tell you what I get, I have a 97' 240sx and I get about 400 miles to the tank or little more than that. Average I'd say that for a quarter tank I get about 100-115.

I don't get 400 miles to the tank, I get 300-340, 96 base model. 400 miles to the tank would be about 31 miles to the gallon, are you sure thats what you get.

I get 200mpg in the sity... I have an intake and no muffler...

i get about the same, a lil better than sil80drifer. i have CAI, and bosch platinum +4 plugs. i'm fixin to get NGK plugs and wires, and also fixin to get HKS Hiper cat-back. that stuff might alter it some also, wont it?
