My 1991 240sx coupe 2.4 twin cam is getting around 25 mpg under normal driving conditions, what is the average mpg for this vehicle supposed to be? I have removed alot of emissions equipment such as charcoal canister and egr, with all equipment associated with it.

That's pretty good for around town driving. I get about that much in mixed driving, with lots of highway speeds and laying on the throttle whenever I can.

Changing your air filter, oil filter, oil, spark plugs and wires will most likely set it to its normal standards. Tire pressure too. I havent checked how many mpg i get but then again I havent filled my tank to full in almost a month lol.

I agree, that sounds like it needs a tune up.

Does the car feel like it has no power?

Also, at what rpm is it idleing?

actually sounds about right, you gotta remember that a 2.4 is a rather large 4 cyl.
