bad gas mileage or gauges?

Hello I just had an K&N typhoon CAI installed on my computer and now I am either getting bad gas mileage or my AVG GAS/Mileage gauges are going crazy. For example I am on the freeway and I am driving about 60+ MPH and the AVG meters are showing that i am going 20+ miles an hour and my avger speed is like 16+. Do you think my ECU needs to be reset or does it just take time for the ECU to learn ?

average speed or average miles per gallon? sounds liek it'syour average miles per gallon (MPG) and sounds about right
