The car is sputtering a fair amount. Wired thing is, the problem will correct itself after a while of driving, as if the fuel injector was cleared out. When the car is sputtering, I check all the spark plug wires, and they seem to be fine. The only weird thing that I found was when I pull out the spark plug wire closest to the front window, nothing happens. As opposed to the others, where, when they are pulled the car pretty much dies. Seeing how nothing is happening when I pull that 1 wire, leads me to believe it may be the specific fuel injector that is going bad?

What do you all think?

does it run like its on 3 cylinders, pull the injector wire out of it, if it changes idle, that might be the bad 1, replace both that injector & spark plug(if necessary)

Is the injector wire directly across from the spark plug wire?

The spark plugs are only a few months old, so I doubt it's that.

Switch the injector with another and see if the cylinder you switched it too starts misfiring. If it does then you have a bad injector if it doesn't then you can look into the spark plugs.

you would certainly know if it was running on 3 cylinders, the engine would be shaking pretty badly, and it would sound like a VW bug when you hit the gas, at least thats what mine did when an injector died.

Like stated before, switch the injectors around and see if the problem goes to a different cylinder.

That is exactly what it is doing. I will try to swtich the injectors when I get home from work. Now, in the event that it is a BAD injector, should I then replace ALL 4? I mean Y not save myself the trouble and replace them ALL since I have to replace 1, right?

Figures! As soon as I get out of work the STUPID problem corrects itself. But here's the thing. I added Gumout Fuel System cleaner yesterday before refueling, thinking maybe it's just build up. Well, since it kicked in today, maybe it is build up in the nozzle. I am going to try a system cleaning at like a Jiffy Lube, or somewhere where they use Seafoam, and see if that helps. Any suggestions as to where I should take the car to get the fuel system cleaned?
