Bad feeling about starter

I have a bad feeling my starter went bad tonight. When i turn my key it does nothing. I have full electrical power. I had to pop the clutch to start it to get it home from work. Are there any signs of a starter going bad that i should have noticed and took action to?

It depends on which part of the starter went bad. Do you still hear the solenoid clicks or not. You might just have bad ground. Some places actually refurb starters of any kind for less than a hundred
