Hey, so to everyone that has had their rotors drilled to fit a specific setup, in my case drilling the z32 rotors to make fit on my s13 240sx. i know alot of guys drill the 4 bolt pattern into the z32 rotor but i would like to hear some experiences afterwards? alot of people tell me its a BIG no, and others say its perfectly fine, heck circuit sports sells a rotor with both the 4 bolt and 5 bolt pattern on it from factory....anyways experiences? anyone?

as long as the lug holes are centered and the rotor runout is till good i dont think there is anything wrong wih it, if you get the holes off center then bad things will happen

If holes are off, rotor wouldn't go in. Rotor is hub centric, so if drilled holes are 1mm off, rotor wouldn't go in. It's okay if holes are slightly larger than the stud. Once wheel is on and lugnuts are tightened, there'll be no play whatsoever.

yes, but isnt the hub diameter larger for the 300zx than it is for the 240???

They are exactly the same. Here's redrilled z32 rotor on my car. Perfect fit and car doesn't shake or anything at high speed.

How do you like those stance coils? I've heard mixed opinions but I'm looking for something new pretty soon.

I love them. Sometime I forget that I have coilovers. Very comfortable yet controlled stiff. If I have to buy again, I'll buy GR+ Pro for sure.

if possible, use a drill press... i drilled mine by hand and it was a PITA X3 to keep the drill level. also the shavings, even though swept up, still left a ssweet rust stain on my driveway the day after. i recommend using a few bolts to drop in and hold the rotors aligned. also, they need to be tapered from the back for the wheel studs... have fun!
