Hoping some of you might a better idea as to the bad idle and misfiring problems i've been having. Last weekend I change my dead distributor for a brand new one. Follow all of the install instructions line by line to make sure I installed it correctly using this link as help : zerothread/358025

After that I made sure I got my timing right. With help of this link here:zerothread/357786

Disconnected TPS, waited till engine warmed up. Used a timing gun and made sure the marker niddle was matching with the 20 degrees marking on the pulley. And finally turning off the car, plug tsp back in and start the engine.

All is working super smooth until I drive an estimated 2 miles when problems start to come up. Engine starts to sound like there is misfiring and get loss of power. Eventually the engine dies down. Here are 2 links to 2 videos I took with my iphone showing capturing the problem I am experiencing.

When this happens the car is approbating at normal temperatures, which only confuses me more.

Anyways hoping anyone can shed some light onto me. Thank you all in advance.

Hi and thank for the reply.

I double check the vacuum lines and cant seam to find any leaks. I though my problem was an overheating fuel pump and replace with a new one, yet the problem still persist.

Does anyone have any more leads?

Thank you in advance.
