Hi I have a 1995 Nissan 240sx and recently while trying to install a new cd unit I crossed some wires and now the only electrical components that work are my power door locks, dome lights, and clock. The car will not start. I checked and replaced 2 fuses and still nothing works. Any help is appreciated.

do you know which wires you crossed...ie color or plug...also have you checked your fusible links on the pos batt cable?

Well I have a 91 and dont think they are the same..but I looked at my wires for the stereo..and I cant find anything there that would cause that kinda prob...unless maybe the mem wire (constant 12+) could do it.. I would be sure to check those fusible links and also it would be a good idea to look at all the ones that may be in the box by the batt and also possibly by the air filter although I believe those are only like fogs and ac and such...I am sorry I dont know enough of the particulars of your car to narrow it down much...

in theory there must be a fuse/fusible link blown somewhere. did anything change after replacing the fuses?
