bad ebay buy

I bought a transmission harness off ebay for $31 plus $12 shipping. I came home last night and opened the box only to find that two of four plugs that go to the fuse box are cut off. I didn't pay $43 for something I'm going to have to splice and modify to that extent. moral of the story is, kids, don't buy from people you can't trust... so buy from nico members on the buy sell and trade forum. Any one have an s13 5spd trans harness for sell? I'm sending this one back.

yeah, did the auction have pics? I'm assuming not.

As far as the NICO parts section goes, i'd only buy parts off of members i know outside of the boards. There have been plenty of mishaps/cons in the parts section too. Sometimes it just pays to go to the junkyard.

Well I bought this one water pump for my sr from ebay. Got to my house, installed it, and when I was adding coolant, it started leaking from the holes. Spent 10 minutes swearing.

yeah, I think ebay is getting a bad rap cause of stuff like this. There are too many dishonest sellers tryin to rip people off (or just don't know what they are doing), and ebay doesn't have any sort of quality control. One of my friends was selling stuff on there way back when he was 14, that gives me no comfort in who could be on the other end of the auction.

well its not complete... and yea sellers on ebay are really ripping people hardcore. check out some of the shipping charges on that crap they have on there. $20 shipping on a pos air intake.
