Bad dizzy?

Hey Guys, i have a quick question about my idle on my Ka24de. I just did a full engine rebuild about 3000 miles ago, my car had some power issues at first, turns out it was a bad MAF. But the problem im facing now is when my engine is at TDC and my dizzy is set perfectly my car just wants to bog down and not have any throttle responce, but when i advance my dizzy it it runs great and is full of power, but my idle is at 1800 and my car is running hotter than normal, what can i do to fix this? any advice is welcome and thanks for taking the time to read this.

u can adjust at the throttle wire the two 14 mm bolts to idle down a lil

I Will give it a shot see what happens but i already adjusted my throttle all the way down? I replaced my TPS with a brand new oem one from advanced and it still does the same.

did you set adjsut the TPS sensor correctly?

Today i disconnected my battery for 10 min and unplugged my TPS, adjusted my throttle cable. plugged my battery back up and started her up, noticed a huge difference right away, i got my car to have a lower idle while adjusting my dizzy and plugged my tps back in, everything responded well and had good pull and power, 950-1050 rpm is way better than 1800rpm

i think with a little more tinkering i might be able to get back to normal, how do you correctly set a TPS i dont know if i did it right? any advice is more than welcome! thanks a bunch!
