So i've installed my Eibach Pro-kit.It makes a HUGE difference in the looks of the car.I'm so F***ed if insurance finds out but..Anyways.

I purchased 18'' +37 offset rims. I asked the shop if it would rub and the guy said def no. When i look at my car with the stock rims and imagine +37 offset I can see it being real close to the fender/ well.

My problem now is.. When you ask someone "Will it rub" does the question neglect how many passengers are in the car? I can't see my car NOT rubbing when i have 5 ppl in it. I mean, it drops .5 inch when i sit in it (150 lbs) so with 5 ppl thats 2.5 inches. A drop of 2.5 inches + 37 offset wheels spells disaster.. no?

I hope i didnt just screw up my cars ability to seat 5 ppl.

i never understand why people say they are "f**** if insurance finds out"

How exactly does this hurt your insurance? I know they wont cover any cost to replace it, and if you get in a accident they will only pay for stock to be replaced but other then that, i dont get it.

Your right, they just won't cover what is not stock. They won't deny the claim, but they will not pay extra for aftermarket items unless endorsed onto the policy.

You can fit five people in your coupe?!?! Wowza...

That being said, I'm 6'3" and my gf is 5'11"...with our long legs the coupe becomes a two-seater! Time to rip those suckers out! haha

I doubt five people will drop the car 2.5" though. The progressive rate springs wouldn't allow for that, would they? I might me wrong...

chow is from canadia where the insurance people are wierd, there was a thread about it,

anywho, 5 people in a a/c..... i dont know that small of people. but what i would do is just tell the three people who you were gonna have ride in the backseat that they will have to find there own way to where ever you are headed, besides they arent paying for the car.

Chow... this should be in suspension...

But... im running slightly over diameter... 245/35/20 with 38 offset, and so is doc.. with the eibachs...

Ive had roughly 650 pounds in the car at most.... and no issues.. I

ve also tested it on the track and during hard banks (alone in the car) it didnt rub either.
