bad compresiion

ok ka24e with 200k on it burns oil checked compression 1-140psi2-155psi3-140psi4-130psidrained my block fo und bunch of oil in it. so explains why it blows oil during compression added pil into 4th cylinder compression jumped from 130 to 140psi. I need this engine to run for a year without smoking like a bbq until i get my sr swap if i were to chANGE THE HEAD GASKET would that stop it from smoking?:icesangel or according to my compression it'll help a bit but piston rings will still make it smoke.Any suggestions?

sounds like you need new rings.
