Bad coil,result of lost power?

I finished my ka-t about a month ago and I could'nt figure out why my car felt so slow while boosting. I checked everthing I installed twice to see if I messed up anything I wired in, but I came up with nothing. Until yesterday I tested my spark and I noticed that there was very little spark coming from the wires. So next I tested the coil and still no spark so I took the cap and roter out and it was really bad. So tommorow im going to hook up my new msd blaster coil and my cap and roter. Hopefully that will do the trick.
