my clutch feels like its giving out soon. won't go into gear when i start the car right away and my clutch pedal is starting to feel like im stepping on butter. pressure between 2nd and 3rd gear like it wants to pop out itself. im not sure whats going on. dont know if i need a new slave cylinder or need to bleed the clutch lines.

any opinions or suggestions on how to go about this?

i have a stock ka24de.. stock everything pretty much other than the springs, strut towers and sway bars. any ideas on what clutch kit i should get? i want more feel in the clutch..

thanks,pat

bleed the system first. ditch that ol' dirty bastard of a damper loop and that'll help you speed things along quite a bit.

Also, check where the push rod of the master cylinder comes through the firewall on the inside of the car. You should see the black rubber seal. If there is any fluid visible, your master cylinder is leaking. This will cause the clutch to feel soft/spongy.
