so i got the 240 out of the garage now that the snow is gone. i did some standard maintenance on her to make sure she was ready for the road. everything was running great! Then i noticed a MESSED up noise when i push in/let out the clutch. out of no where she didn't want to go into gear either. but once the clutch is all the way let out it goes away. it felt a little laggy on acceleration too. any help would be great.

I have had (2) bad throw out bearings thru the years. The sound was like a rattling, whistling type of sound when the clutch pedal is pushed down and it went away as you let off the pedal. As for not going into gear, I can't really offer any advice. That sounds like a separate issue.

Sounds like a throw out bearing for sure, and possibly the pilot bearing. Either way if you replace one you replace them both, including the pressure plate and clutch disc, since you're already in there.

As far as the trans not going in gear, this could just be old gummed up trans oil that hasn't been warm in a while, and/or the pressure plate, and possibly the clutch slave and/or master cylinder.

Drive it some more, get it good and warm and see what happens, a car that's been sitting for a while might need some time to get "loosened up".
