Alright so i've been working on my z and the guy that i bought it from just said that "it needed a new clutch". I wanna know if it actually does or not. It has an aftermarket clutch that has only been in for about 9 months (no clue what brand). But when i start it up and put it into 1st and let off the clutch pedal it needs to pretty much come all the way out to actually engage and go. (The clutch also doesn't feel like it has very much pressure) Shifting in between all of the gears though is fine and it doesn't grind at all. Anybody know if it is the clutch going bad or if it just needs to be bled and have the pedal adjusted?

Also when i have the car turned on and push in the clutch i can hear an air hiss noise

Thanks,
Connor

I would bleed it first to make sure no air is in the lines, the hiss sound will be your clutch assist which you could check. After that set the adjustment properly following this

I would try that first and if it still has issues post back.
