I recently installed new brake lines to the rear and when bleeding the brake system I forgot to remove the electrical connectors at the actuator for the DPV anti-lock braking system. Since then I am now blowing the 10 amp fuse for the radiator fan system, air conditioner, ascd, time control unit, anti-lock braking system and also melting the 30 amp green fuse link having the white lead going to the SMJ and the other white lead going to the battery and charging system. After they blow you can hear the circuit breakers clicking away and the auto air system, all power windows, door locks, trunk release won't operate and the key gets locked in the ignition. Is it coincidental that the electrical problem was caused by the anti-lock brake system? If anyone can help fix this problem or shed some light as to where I should go next would be very much appreciated.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions re:above?

sounds horrible. I don't have the perfect answer, but do you have an exposed wire somewhere? I think it's coincidental, but I'm not an expert in the electronic workings of the ABS. Has your ground been disturbed? What about disconnecting/reconnecting battery?

Down load a copy of the FSM from here [http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/i35/2003/] and use the "el" and "br" chapters to isolate the short circuit. With battery disconnected check for short circuit from the fusible link/fuse box area. Use an ohmmeter to look for any short circuit from each fusible link terminal with respect to ground. Also check the condition of electrical harness/wire connected to the fuse box and the fusible link themselves.
