Bad Ball Joint??

Hey guys,

i have an 02 qx4, and i believe my drivers side ball joint needs to be replaced. I have some clicking and clacking when im breaking and turning left into a parking stall, turning left down a spiral ramp i have heard it also.
As well, if i keep my foot on the break when stopped and shake my steering wheel from side to side i hear the same clicking noise as well as a creeking.

How much does it normall cost to replace a bad ball joint?

Sounds more like a cv-joint/axle(clicking) than ball joint(loose feeling in steering). If the ball joint is bad, I believe grabbing the tire on the top and bottom and and pushing in on the top and pulling out on the bottom, and vice-versa, is the easiest way to tell. There shouldn't be any play.
