Bad Alternator, Will sr20de work?

Yea, title explains it. I ordered a 92 sentra 2.0l, which i believe to be the sr20de, alternator...and im just wondering if that will work.

My friend had the same problem. We went to pepboys( dont know if they got that in cali) and it didnt fit, mounting holes are different but i could be wrong. as far as im concerned it wont fit, but an alternator from a ka24de will fit but you will have to drill out the top hole of the alternator to a bigger one with out the threads.
