Hey guys, so my alternator is done for. My battery and brake lights came on and car went into limp mode. I've disconnected battery and restarted car couple of times didn't help. Then I decided to drive to closest O'Reilys to check my battery (3 months old) and for a brief and very needed time car went back to working normal and managed to get to car parts shop. My Infiniti dashboard lights flashed few times and didn't sound happy running again so not to risk it I just turned the car off and kept it overnight at O'Reilys. Thankfully young fella at the shop referred me to a mechanic that works on Sundays and comes to fix cars in their parking lot.

Additional issue is that my driver side power seat as well as side mirrors completely stoped working. Seems as though all other electrical equipment is functioning normally. So far after internet search I am coming to an unpleasant conclusion that I might have to change all of the motors in my seat as there are no fuses for them, is that really true? Any ideas guys?

Hey there,

Is it possible your BCM is having issues? I'm not entire sure if it controls seats and stuff, but I know it controls such like interior lights...so maybe.

Better late than never. So after alternator was changed after couple of days my seats and mirrors started working on their own. Not sure how that happened but happy it did
