So I'm wondering if anyone has taken compressed air to the seat holes. Needless to say after the beach trip a few weeks back, the very drunk gf decided to bring the whole beach into the seat and now there's basically no flow. It's not the filter, it has been cleaned recently and I took it ran the cooler still no flow. I know the module is working I can hear it, see it, and feel it pulling air.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Be very careful you don't rip a hole in the thing but that's a big bummer.

If the problem is sand and grit that's migrated down into the spreader pad, compressed air will generally just drive the grit deeper into the pad. The only good way to restore some flow is to get underneath it. That's not horribly difficult if you remove the seat from the car. The cover and cushion are only held down with J-hooks and the cover is attached to the cushion with hog rings. Lifting the cushion and peeling back the cover will likely let you get compressed air in where it will do some good without actually detaching anything. If you do need to part some of the hog rings, the easiest method is to cut the rings with a dremel and then replace them with 6" zip ties.

Is the spreader pad replaceable apart from seat cushion?

It will come with either the cushion or the cover, but I can't be certain which on your ride (I'm a Nissan guy, don't see M's much). I can say I've never seen one that was a separate part.
