I have a 2.5 altima coupe and the acceleration is not that great, i feel like it used to be better when i first got the car. What are some modifications i can do to help my acceleration.

btw i have the k&n intake which i believe takes away from low end hp?

trade it in and buy a 370z. That will really help your acceleration

not a whole lot... most parts are designed to increase top end horsepower... low end torque is decreased in almost every application...

I know what you mean though, I definately feel like my car was faster off the line when it was stock... but i also have 300 lbs of stereo equip and heavy 20" rims now, so that doesn't help

Put lighter wheels on if you have big ones (put the OEM rims back on instead of ya ballin' skatez yo').

as far as what QR25De stated, i think I'd agree with CAI, bullydog power pup with timing adjustment and premium tune, and lighter wheels...

i think that combo would get you a noticeable bump off the line...

Headers brought back low end for me. Since I was unpleased with how much low end decreased with intake, getting the headers on definitely got short distance times back to normal
