Bad AAC symptoms?

what symptoms will you get if you have a bad KA24DE AAC?

My car is having high idle problem(1200RPM at idle), I clamp down the air regular air inlet hose, the idle drops. I thought the air regulator is bad, I took it out and put battery voltage to it, it closes fine, so the bimetal and the heater inside the air regulator is good. I checked the harness, and it's good. I even ran a 12V to the air regulator when it's on the car. The idle wouldn't drop.

have you tried lowering the base idle with the idle screw? its in the iac-aac

It's weird, with the throttle sensor disconnect, I screw the idle adjuster all the way in, I am still getting over 1000rpm idle, but with the throttle sensor connect, I can lower the rpm to around 750.

PS. It's confirm there is no vaccuum leak.

thats wierd, i dunno what to tell you on that. try cleaning the throttle body and letting the car sit over night with the batt disconnected. sometimes a "soft" tps value will cause a high idle.
