Backup Sensors on 2019 Model?

Saw a Rogue today that had backup sensors on it. Looked like the newer model but I wasn't aware the Rogue's had backup Sensors. So I looked online and it does list Rear Sonar Sensors, was this added for the 2019 model? I don't really see any advertising of it. I'm guessing it wouldn't be possible for retrofit the 2018?

The Rear Automatic Braking and Rear Sonar System was added to the 2019 Rogue SV and SL models.

You can probably add an aftermarket rear sonar system. The cost, if it could be added, for the OEM system may be extremely costly. I couldn't begin to give you an idea on OEM pricing as parts suppliers don't even list the 2019 as it's too new. Just for giggles you could inquire at your local dealership.
