Backup sensor install

Has anyone installed backup sensors on the Versa? My dad feels that he needs them. I installed some on my Rogue thanks to the excellent instructions in this post:zer...npics

Specifically, I need to know the color of the wire that powers the reverse lights on the Versa. Also, is it really necessary to remove the rear combination lamp in order to remove the bumper?

AFAIK, the service manual does not say which color wire powers the reverse lights. I found the following information on http://www.modifiedlife.com/20...gram/:
