I hooked up a Pioneer backup camera to my Pioneer AVIC 910, and it works fine, sort of. The problem is that it takes almost half a minute to boot up, and by that time, I'm already backed out of the parking space. I could sit there and idle the engine for half a minute, but that's stupid. If I turn the key to the ACC position and wait, it will boot up, but when I start the engine, it has to boot all over again.

So, if you're thinking about getting one of these, keep that start-up time in mind.
