backup camera for 2006 M35

We recently purchased a Black on Black 2006 M35 Sport and it came with a backup camera without having navigation. We were told that it was an early option for 2006 and after that, only cars that came with navigation were equipped with the camera. We were dissatisfied with other things with the car and quickly turned it back into the dealership and changed to a Graphite model without the camera or navigation. my question is, can the camera be added to the car? Second, the black car had a rear view mirror with a compass and homelink buttons for garage doors etc.. the new one has a plain mirror with only the auto dimmer. Can the mirror be swapped out for one with the compass and homelink features. Many thanks in advance
