backseat removal

i'm thinking of taking my backseat out of my 89 240 because all i want to ride in it is my girl and no one else, and i might put speakers back there, so any help on how to take the backseats out will be appreciated, thanks

can't help you with the seats but I think it's cool you wanna get rid of them. I'm gonna start getting rid of a lot of thing on my 240 too, anyone with advice please post something.

if it's a hatch...pull the bottom pad out...then unscrew the back seatpad from it's hinges

^^ ur gonna get some road noise unless you insolote that somehow

Why wouldn't you want road noise?Really though, just get back there and start pulling stuff apart, you'll see whats up.

the bottom part has two little black things that stick out from under the front of it. just pull those and you'll be able to pop the whole thing out. backrest has screws like 1991240xs said
