So I placed my order for my borla exhaust from crutchfield website and it's on backorder now

I'm pretty sure not many ppl have used crutchfield before but does anyone have a guess how long websites like this one keep you waiting when items are on backorder?I doubt they get exhausts shipped in on a regular basis :ohno:

dont ever ask questions of loop-the-all-knowing, if you do there will be MAJOR consequences, (he wont help you next time)!!!
beware!

lol but seriously, loop has his hands in many different cookie jars, hes like dangeris, he really works to get support in many places, and they have connections to the aftermarket stuff, i dont know how they do it :gotme

Too lazy to go research right now...how does that compare to other sites? Sounds pretty competitive to me?

from what I saw a lot of websites are selling for around the same price give or take $30-75...the free shipping made it the cheaper option for me

Nice deal then. Even though they are usually a lot more overpriced than other sites for audio equip., I always buy my high end equip. from them. Customer service and warranty service cannot be beaten. Website kind of sucks but you can call them and just talk to one of the support reps and they get you what you want.

Gonna go check the bank account now, might need me some Borla! :yesnod

It sounds like something Rob Zombie would put in one of his twisted movies, like a demon or something. Mastercard?...Mmmmhmmmmm.

I take that back, new date is 7/30 and 8/2 is when they will be shipped. They had downtime with their machinery.

I absolutely love my borla exhaust and Racingline Ypipe! Just ordered the Injen Intake for the best possible sound.

Can't wait to hear all 3 together. By the way, I bought my borla for $624.56 with free shipping from Autoanything.com. Best deal I could find. They run 20% sales a few times a year. That's where I'm also getting my Injen intake from for $232 with free shipping (15% off their price).

Good luck and enjoy!

just canceled my order and placed my order at autoanything.com for $656  only bad thing is the sales rep told me they won't be able to ship it till the 16th of Aug =/

he said the reason was because it was "custom"

Better to wait a bit longer for a better price. He probably meant that it was a special order. Most likely its drop shipped from Borla.

That's the EXACT setup I have and it sounds soooooooooooo good! I hardly ever hear my car from the outside, but I had to hop out this morning after I started it up and that nice deep, throaty, rumbling sound put a big smile on my face

Also, getting it into high RPM when getting on the freeway will get you excited lol :boink:
