backlight of the 4WD control switch

I bought an 04 pathfinder about a month ago. On the 4WD switch I see there is backlight lit up over the '4H-push-4Lo' lettering as well as the line indicator, but there isn't any for '2WD' and 'Auto'. Is it like that by design or the bulb went dead for those two letterings? Also, all the contorls on the driver's side door handle are backlit except for the 'deactivation' button (the one that turns off other doors's power functions). Is that also normal? Thanks.

the 4wd switch is supposed to be all lit up but mine is just like you described. I used to be able to tap on it with my finger and it would come back on, now its just dead completely. I might go take it apart right now to see if the bulb is replaceable.
