For kicks I put in my silencer in today to see if that would help with the boost creep. Yep....boost creep is gone! Holds a steady 12 psi all the way to redline

I can't keep the silencer in there as it makes it waaay to quiet. Any idea if a hi flow cat would add enough back pressure to eliminate boost creep..or should I bite the bullet and get the wastegate ported?

First of all, I'm glad to hear you got your WOT problem sorted out. Secondly I seriously doubt the cat will do it. The really don't restrict flow NEARLY as much as ppl think they do.

Do it right, get it ported. Or just run 14psi, then you won't have any creep! LOL

Thanks.....it's been a pita. Thanks for all the help btw....

Yeah, wasn't sure if a cat would do the trick or not.......so I guess I'll get it ported.If I could keep a steady 14psi without the silencer I'd be happy...but when I take it out....boost keeps on climbing above 5000k rpms.....with or without the mbc

Oh, I thought you mean it was climbing to 14psi by redline. So this thing has boost creep REALLY bad? Yea, get it ported and you'll be good.

It'll stay steady until I get to about 5000-5500 rpms....once there the boost will keep climbing until I let off.Even with no mbc, it'll stay at the 10-11psi, then shoot up and keep going once i get to 5000-5500 rpms.... With the silencer in...it holds at the set boost all the way to redline.So...looks like I need to get it ported then
