my 240 KAe is running rich... when I rev it up a little it sounds strange and it backfires in the intake. what does this mean? It also is running crappy and the car kinda shakes at idle. wtf? Thanks. plus the battery keeps dying, could the alternator be causing all of this stuff to happen?

prob not an alternator issue. try unplugging maf and o2 sensor to take them out of the equation. also, check ign timing and fuel pressure.

it's the alternator causing all the trouble, low voltage output means maf isn't working right . I started her up and yanked off a battery cable and she died there on the spot.
