I am desperately looking for help with this.

I have a 2016 SV with All around cams and Navi. I upgraded to a Pioneer 4660-NEX. I used an AXXESS SWC module and back up cam retainer. I know I cannot retain the Birds Eye cams, and that’s fine. When I originally hooked it up, the cam would display for a few seconds with birds eye and cut out. I thought this was because of the CAM BUS, so I bypassed the module and tapped into the rear view camera on the camera control module behind the glove box. Now I can get crystal clear views whenever I am in reverse, however - the view of the camera is off. It almost looks like it should be zoomed or it’s at the wrong angle. When I view the rear view cam, I see most of the top of my license plate housing and my license plate, then a little slice of what is behind me.

I searched for about 2 months before posting this and cannot find anyone with this issue. Does anyone have any ideas on what to try fix this?

With the bird's eye, all the cam images are being pre-processed by the AVM Controller before being sent to the Navi. My guess is you're getting an unprocessed fisheye by cutting out the AVM and going direct to the cam. You might check if the non-AVM version of the car uses a different backup cam, substituting that may clear up the fisheye.
