Back Seats?

is the back seat over rated in terms of looks, functionality, and purpose in the 240?

how many of you still have them? and how many of you took them out because they look real crappy? what do you put in its place?

I still have mine in but was contemplating on taking it completely out because nobody could fit back there.

I took them out, seatbelts and all. it's too small for any normal person to ride back there with. there is actually alot more room in the back with the seats gone.

ive fit 3 people in, but never ever has someone sat behind me. for the fact that im 6'1" and i cant drive with my stomach touching the steering wheel, the only thing there is room for behind me is my cd case.. what do you guys replace the seats with? my car is a full street car so i dont wanna roll around sportin a gutted trunk....

eh, it's not so bad...i personally cut out a little bit of plywood, covered it w/ some fluffy foamish cloth and then vinyl...bolted it in place of the seats and called it a day...it's louder w/o the seats though

i just fold mine to give me more volume. I'm an artist and eng. major so I carry lot's of big portfolios/sculptures/etc...

Ya i'm about to spray my (S13) Vinyl blue... everything that is that dash material is going to be a full blue, and the black plastic and air vent plastic is going to be accented in a royal blue color (darker and sorta purply) BUT ANYWAYS the purpose of this is to add that i don't really know what to do with the heinous "tweed" back seats... i don't want to be lame and throw a seat cover on but like... honestly...

I have a question, isn't that asking for trouble? people can see that you have an expensive amp. they find the rihgt time, break your rear window and take it if they feel it's worth it and the amp does look expensive...

I've got all of you i've fit 5 girls plus me. three in the back and one in someones lap in front. only for a short distance though. but who cares I had fun anyway.

i think i have you all beat:

in my S13 i have fit 280 beers and 5 people, including me. the (stock) suspension was completely bottomed out in the back... i was picking up U-Brew of course.

I think i put like 3 months of wear on my clutch in those 20 minutes:(

I actually just stripped my backseat out yesterday. Some support bars will go where it was, but thats all.

I've had to fit 6 people in my car before. Even though it was only for 10 minutes... It was pretty funny.. and the car was really really slow... 4 people in the backset...

my friend just took his back seat out of his prelude.....it was deamed useless anyway. pluss he didnt want to have to drive more than his date around on prom...good thinkin huh. and as for all of u who want to fit more girls, yeah there is always the lap... its the best. and just throw some rug down guys! i might take mine out.
