If the latch an/or anchor is non adjustable then go down to rshack and pick up some 'feet' of the appropriate size.Sentientbydesign wrote:I can hear the back seat latch rattling. The only solution thus far was to wedge a towel between the seat and the "frame" to prevent it from moving, but this is both difficult and obnoxious.
Any suggestions? I looked at the anchor and it seems to be tight. It almost seems like the anchor and latch are too close to each other when the seat is upright and that allows for the play which makes the noise.
Hmm. Not a bad idea. I was considering weather stripping foam along the top "seem", but the feet would probably work just as well.pfarmer wrote:

A little hard to figure out what type of feet since I don't know what the frame really looks like on yours. Another option if the frame is one easily drilled is to use a neopreme seat for a faucet. These should wear well (maybe better then feet) and come in all sorts of sizes and shapes.Sentientbydesign wrote:

Thanks, Perry.
My seat rattles as well.RichiePoor wrote:My back seat rattles too.
In my case even when I am in the house.Sentientbydesign wrote:Well, I'm glad I'm not alone. TSB to the rescue! lol
I read the FSM regarding the back seat and noise issues, but it's really not written well from a technical or non-technical stand point.
IIRC, it was something like: If it makes noise, check the latch and anchor.
