back out trans space?

1986 nissan 720 early model and is a 4x4 5spd king cab. To replace clutch,
is there space to move trans backwards to relace clutch.

I have an 82 datsun 2wd and I had to remove the trans.

I dont know much about these trucks about trial and error with my own.
