Picked up my black 92 S13 on saturday... stoked! I love this car, 92 black, 5spd, and HICAS!

Actually, I hate HICAS... freekin weird handling characteristics, but I love the LSD. Lock kit is coming soon.

Thanks again to Hybrid who went to GA with me to pick up the car, and helped me wheel and deal one hell of a great price!

HICAS IS TIGHT, I WISH I HAD HICAS BUT OHH WELL. BUT EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT AND EVERYONE HAS DIFFERENT USES FOR THEIR CARS.

HICAS HAS A PURPOSE THAT YOU "DRIFTERS" CAN'T UTILIZE. HICAS IS GREAT IF THATS WHAT YOU WANT OUT OF YOUR CAR.

I am a drifter... but on top of it hindering sidways performance it is also very odd in normal driving. The best way that I can describe it is almost like the car is slithering through turns.

THATS BECAUSE IT HAS ALOT OF CONTROL. YOU DIRECT AND ITS THERE, NOT YOU DIRECT AND IT EVENTUALLY FOLLOWS.

It actually drives somewhat unpredictably to me. I'd say that it does more of what you say it helps avoid (i.e. it follows with the back end eventually after the turn is initiated). The limit of the car is somewhat hidden by HICAS, making for an unsure spirited driving situation... personal opinion.

To each his own...

i drove rbsileighty's new car and it scares me. The Hicas is the major reason...the squeaking coming from the front suspension, is yet another reason, and the fact the stock suspension on an S13 feels WAY different than JIC coilovers (so i like to brag...what of it) is another reason. I can only see one reason for Hicas...U-turn races. The car can rival a CRX on it's turning radius.Congrats on the new car. We are going to have some mean 240s rolling around soon.

Yeah... drove Hybrid's car last night, and like usual it is one impressive machine. Car is really strong with this crisp, cold weather. Going to check out that clunk in the front tonight. I think my Pathfinder is sprung tighter than this S13. My Tomei hicas lock kit is on the way... so that will help. FLT-A2's will make their way on the car asap...
