Well as most of you know I totaled my wrx a few weeks ago. All is settled there, and i've been diligently car searching since the crash. When I sold my s14 4 years ago, I always said I would have another one. Well, it happened lol. I went to look at 3 hondas and they were all junk. I couldn't find anything decent in my area. Then something caught my eye on craigslist for some reason and i'm glad it did. Its a 95 s14 with 90K original miles. Its the cleanest KA i've ever seen. Not a single oil leak, timing chan noise, nothing. The steering rack is still silver, no gunky buildup whatsoever. It has a freakin mint interior. It is an automatic also, and is in dire need of paint. But heres everything I got with it:

On the car:
-Some Jap model of tein coilovers, not sure of the exact model though
-Tension rods & Rucas
-350Z Track Wheels
-300zx TT front brakes

Truckload I Brought home with it:
-Complete 5 speed swap
-J30 LSD w/ axles
-Stock wheels, brakes, suspension, e.t.c, extra set of new 300zx rotors
-JDM Side skirts and rear valences

I'm sure i'm forgetting something but thats about it. The car drives and rides really nice and most everything works. It has a few accessories that need to be fixed like the cruise control and power window on the pass side. I picked all of this up for an absolute DEAL, and really couldn't be happier with the condition of the car. While its a project, its super solid and all there. With a bit of work, this is really gonna turn into a nice car...

Its no subaru, but I can make this work :)

Yep, I will start one in 240 gen soon once I get some time to start working on it. :bigthumb:

Not at all. I paid 4500 for everything. Considering the condition of the car and everything I got, I think its a deal. It is so hard to find a non-ragged out 240 with the original KA these days.

Coming up soon! These are pics before the car has even been touched by me, I will get right on that for you lol.

OEM Zenki side skirts?

I hate you...

Also when do you plan on doing the 5-speed swap? I know you live in FL and I wouldn't mind helping someone do theirs before I do mine.
Plus it wouldn't be a bad idea to replace some of those bad picture links in the write-up.

I do also. I mean when I was looking I found a 89 Hatch 5 speed that really looked mint through and through. It had 155K and they were asking $4500. Thats the kind of pricing i'm dealing with around here. I would much rather have the one I bought. Its no one elses poorly done car, it will be done right the 1st time by me.

Yes they are OEM. I'd hate me too :chuckle:

I'm really not too sure yet, but probably within the next month or 2. I'd like to fix the accessories that have problems and gather some things like motor mounts, a clutch, short throw, e.t.c. before the swap is done. I'm almost positive that i'm just going to let my friend do the whole thing. Hes a 240 guru and is going to do it for me very reasonably at his shop. I'd much rather pay him since he knows exactly what hes doing rather than wrestle with it on jackstands in my garage for a whole week lol. If I do go crazy and decide to tackle it myself, I will let you know.

A whole week to do a 5 speed swap? Are you going to be taking shots of tequila as your working on it? But seriously 3 days max for anyone that knows how to use a wrench and has basic mechanical knowledge to do a 5 speed swap on a 240 on jack stands.

But that is a hell of a deal for the car and pile of parts that came with it.

LMAO. I was over-exaggerating on the week part. I am confident I could do it but my friend knows exactly how and he has a lift. I'm sure i'll end up giving him a hand during the process anyway. Like I said I just feel more comfortable paying him to do it.
