Well the bad news first I've been gone cause I got laid off which is bad but I'm gettin unemployment and I havemore time to work on my business now so I'm actually making more money not working then when I was. Other news is I finaly got that 300zx I've been trying to get since last feb. and I didn't have to sell my 240sx. So now I have both cars. My irl got pissed at me but Idon't care cause I'm happy. One question if any one knows on te 300zx what does that little switch do thats right behind the ashtray next to where you adjust the mirrors do. The wrighting has been rubbed off and it lights up but nothing noticable happens.

more cars are always good news, what year Z is it?

that switch may be for fog lights, try looking at them when the headlights are on

If its anything like the 2nd gen Z's, it is the rear defroster. I could be wrong, though.

don't see how, unemployment is money he's put toward taxes.

I wish I could collect some and be lazy, it looked like fun when my brother did it.

Unemployment insurance is paid by the company, not the employee.

Well the switch turns out to be for the defroster thanks shift_z. As for milo Iv'e been working fulltime since I was 13 and I've owned more than five businesses and I'm currently going to school full time while running a mechanic shop so thats not exactly being a leech. I'm just getting whats comming to me from working my a$$ off all my life. So next time you make a comment like that make sure you know who I am first. and for your information I own seven cars.

I'm going to take some pics of me and the new Z next to the 240 soon.

thanks L.T.J.J. Glad to be back I narrowd it down to the deffroster for the mirrors Theres no hight difference when I flip it. the rear deffrost is up by the lights. Another thing I found when I was cleaning it out was these two sucktion cup things in the trunk. I pulled out the whole interior yesterday seats carpet center console and scrubed and washed everything. The guy whoi owned it before me owns a fast food fish store and it had grease and crumbs melted into everything in chunks. I can't seem to get the smell of fish out though. Actually it smells really stale. I tried febrezz every where but still smells. any suggestions any one.

Get a couple of the REALLY strong smelling fabric softner sheets that are used when drying clothes. I put 2 in my trunk when I changed my fuel pump and the smell was gone after one good sunny afternoon (heat helps "activate"). Try putting a few around the inside under things.

Welcome back
