Back after a long break

I used to be a regular on all kinds of mod car forums, and lost interest about a year and a half ago... but I found myself noticing the engineless hunk of metal in my garage the other day and now all I can think about is my old project. It's a 91 hatch in need of an engine, and I always wanted to do an RB25det in it. When I left, it was a rare swap with untapped potential, now it seems to be almost common... an interesting change indeed. So I have some other questions about things I think I know and things I know I knew but now dont know.

1) as I remember it, all you need to get an rb25 to fit into an s13 is an r33 crossmember, r33 mounts, and custom cut driveshaft, plus alot of time to spend getting the wiring right. is this still the case, or are there other REQUIRED mods to getting it in there?

2) Venus auto is still the best place to get an engine and be sure its clean/safe, right?

3) my plan as I last remember it was to get the engine in, and then proceed with mods in this order... tell me if it sounds sane, or am I forgetting something essential: first get a QTEC exhaust cutout (with lots of other stuff like wheels, tires, tints, sand the car and paint flat black, etc), then TurboXS dual stage boost ctrlr, polyurethane bushings all around, new clutch, intake, Wideband sensor, and once we got that we're clear to go for all the serious power stuff. Sound right?

so yeah. glad to be back. any other good 240/rb forums out there?

well I did do that, but alot of posts are old and outdated, and Im just asking for some live verification of this info I collected. sometimes everyone thinks one thing is right and 3 months later everyone changes their minds lol. But anyways. The real question is: If I get an R33 front clip and a custom driveshaft, am I ready to begin?

so what needs improvement? I can tell I'm missing something obvious, because it seems like it will work too easy...
