Well I finally did it. After sitting for 2 years, I decided I'll either be successful or I'll scrap the whole car. With nothing but hand tools and a borrowed engine lift, I was able to pull the cvt out through the hood...meaning no need to drop any subframes. I'm nowhere near a mechanic, so if I can pull it off then anyone can lol.

Thanks! I sold the Accord I got when the CVT failed. I've since sold the Honda and I'm going to drive her until the wheels fall off. Don't forget to put an external cooler on her!
